Becoming a small business owner requires commitment. The idea of stepping “outside the box” so to speak and activate an idea that you have had running around in your head can be overwhelming.

The best way I can think of approaching your startup is to sit yourself down and really think of what outcome you want. Don’t think that you are going to be making bank right away. It takes a lot of work and dedication to get started. Especially if you have already been working an outside job, taking care of your home and family.

Once you get past your idea coming to life, such as having an actual product or service to sell or if you have been crafting items at home to sell, you can begin to consider bigger marketing and advertising strategies for yourself or your product.

If you have some doubts about making a big investment on the internet why not consider a blog site. It’s very similar to a website.

This Fourth of July

This weekend begins a long celebration weekend of America’s freedom. Many people won’t or don’t even know what it is all about.

Freedom is a term the younger generations think of as being free from parental rule. It’s a freedom from the iron fisted rule of England on the American colonists. It’s also a freedom from oppression and a longing for independence.

Not much difference from what the younger generation thinks. We wanted to be free of our parents “The English” and our kids want to be free of “us”.  

The Revolutionary War was in April 1775. As a young country there was much dissension and bloodshed to secure our freedoms and liberties. It was the very beginning of the creation of a great nation.

There was much loss of life. Over the course of decades we still fight for that. Many think it’s a foolish fight.

We must try to get them to remember that The Declaration Of Independence keeps us free and our Constitution backs it up. Without freedom their is war, strife, poverty, decay, dictatorship, starvation, and the stifling of our voices.

This Fourth of July please  give thanks, hold a moment of silence, give praise, thank a Veteran or whatever you can do to keep this very special holiday sacred. Because  ” all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” If you would like to print out a copy of The Declaration of Independence go to this link: .

Celebrate safely and respect the rights of others also. And don’t forget to remind your children that our country rebelled way before they did. By doing that our ancestors gave EVERYONE rights.
